Dress Code
“Let no one despise you for your youth, but set believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12
This is a formal dress event. After much consideration and prayer, we have compiled the following dress code to ensure:
Modesty (1 Corinthians 6:19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.)
We want you to have FUN! Choosing the appropriate attire for the evening will ensure your ability to actively participate in the dancing without having to wrestle with the appropriate placement or position of your gown.
When you are dress shopping make sure to take into consideration your unique body type. Standing in a gown is much different than walking, dancing, and sitting in a gown. Move around in your dress and check for potential issues before you buy it.
If in doubt, it’s better to err on the side of conservative. You are beautiful the way God made you.
If you would like a second opinion, feel free to text a picture of your choice to Cassandra Laurenti (vice president of SIHF) at 502-640-3906.

- Dress length must touch knee or longer. Dresses cut thigh-high in the front and long in the back and dresses with slits above the knee will not be permitted.
